Sofia is amazing and thoughtful! She accommodated our late train arrival by meeting us at the station, booked a water taxi (when it was almost impossible to find one on the busiest day in Venice), invited her husband along so he could watch our bags and stuff while we photograph. There are many photographers one could hire. These days with digital cameras - it can make a less experienced photographer better. What digital cameras cannot guarantee is a well composed photograph. The subject and surroundings must tell a story. Recall looking at your old 35mm or 110 photos. Maybe even some from a disposable camera. Did those photos (regardless of quality) conjure an image or bring you back a vivid memory? That's what great composition can do. And that takes experience and an artful eye. I was surprising my girlfriend with a proposal in Venice and was looking for a photographer. I found Sofia’s work and thought it was lovely. When I contacted her she responded quickly and was able to provide lots of different suggestions on how we could do the proposal. She was able to take me to a private location, where I was able to surprise my girlfriend. With Sofia we had our best photo shooting ever! For only 90 minutes we managed to take few hundred of pictures and 45 out of them we’ve picked up for printing! I take photo-shooting sessions quite often and for me it’s an outstanding result, as I’m quite demanding :-) 
Sofia knows all the spots around St Marco Square, gives hints with posing, keeps great atmosphere - all together it makes her and her models very productive. Also, it was a good idea to take morning hours, when the streets were not yet crowded. I highly recommend to take Sofia for shooting in Venice! She knows her job very well and cares about her customers. We were very lucky to meet such a great person and photographer!

I book photo tours whatever I travel. Sofia’s experience is amazing . She is very nice and personable . We booked the tour for 4 girls two young adults and one 15 and 13 year old . Everyone agreed this was a magical experience. The girls including one that didn’t really want to do the experience at first immediately felt comfortable with Sophia .
Sophia just has a natural and genuine calm and friendly nature . The girls were happily chatting with her the whole time . Of. Could give this experience 10 stars I would !!

If you are hesitant, don’t be. Sofia was amazing. Usually I won’t book with other photographers as I do photography myself and I hate being the one in front of the camera. We hired Sofia to take our daughter's senior pictures while we were in Venice on the 4th of July. From the minute we met her, she was warm and engaging. As a native Venetian, she wove us through the city telling us bits of history. Although Venice is crowded, she knew where to go to avoid the crowds. The spots she chose were little known gems and they were breathtaking. The colors were vibrant, and the views were beautiful. We were able to preview some of the picture and they are amazing. I can't stop smiling every time I look at our photos.
This was our 3rd trip to Venice, but this time we had an extra family member, 17 month old baby girl. We have booked a few experience with Airbnb in Venice in the past, but this time we wanted something special as a family. A Venice photoshoot was the right choice to capture our beautiful and amazing trip to our favourite city, as a family of three forever. 
I read a lot of reviews on different photographers in Venice, but I soon realised some companies set up generic photoshoots for the tourists, from a pool of photographers. This is fine, but I was looking for someone special, somone who I thought could capture our little family's personality. Well I found that person in the artist Sofia. Sofia straight away got us, she understood that we were after somthing a little more natural and fun, (you can't get a 17 month old to pose for a picture). So Sofia took us to her favourite spots, she just snapped away, as we played with our baby girl. The results are just beautiful, so many friends and family have said the photos look like they're out of a magazine. Sofia was easy to get along with, made us feel comfortable, we had a laugh, she really made our first of the four days in Venice fun and interesting, it wasn't just the photos it was the whole experience. Thank you so so much, we will be back in a few years for our next family photo shoot. ❤️

This is the one!! Book with Sofia! My partner and I combed through all of the photoshoot experiences on AirBnB, also checking out their other social media, and of them all, we found Sofia's photos to have the best style, and we were right. Our photos look amazing! Also she sent us close to 300 photos!! Most photographers only send you about 20. We also felt super safe and comfortable with her which was important to us. It felt like instant friendship and to be honest made me like Venice more haha. 
I was worried I might look a bit awkward in the photos since I don't know how to pose or anything but that quickly became a non-issue. She made us look great even if we were just standing there smiling. And there were so many little moments captured in between those where we're laughing and being candid.
Overall, this was so worth it for the memories captured and wonderful time we had. I will cherish these photos for literally a lifetime. Book it!

This photoshoot totally exceeded my expectations! Sofia sent very clear instructions on where to meet, and during the shoot, took some amazing photos. Despite the crowds at Piazza San Marco, she knew the right angles to take photos in order to get minimal people in the background. I asked if we can take a gondola as part of the shoot, and she even made sure to get a nice gondolier (who unfortunately have a reputation for being a bit rude to tourists). Our family of four had a wonderful experience with Sophia. Not only is she gorgeous and modelesque, but she has such a great energy in her art form. Her relaxed approach makes you feel at ease and she really listens to your ideas. For example, I’m in love with the Gothic Quatrefoil elements of the Doge Palace and she made sure we stopped by and captured those features. 

 

Her personable stories entertained me as we had an ad hoc tour of Venice, to spots we’ve never been to like the Aqua Alta Library. Sophia gave us many options of how far we were willing to walk. While I truly wished my 7 and 9yo wouldn’t complain about walking to the Rialto bridge just 15m in nice clothes, I knew my kids wouldn’t be happy campers and she completely respected our wishes. 

 

She knows Venice like the back of her hand and she says she does shoots in Paris too. (Hoping we can find her there, too, someday.) 

 

She also has a great eye for framing the shots and knowing where the light is good. In one moment, she told us to rearrange our order because there was a better composition, either with our colors or heights, etc. Loved how laid back she was and let us guide the session. I can’t imagine a better experience than the one that Sofia provided us. If I could rate her 6 stars I would. I contacted Sofia prior to booking a photo shoot to make sure she could accommodate a surprise photo shoot for when I proposed to my now fiancé. Sofia and her husband helped coordinate the time and exact location so that the photos would turn out well, which of course they did! Sofia went above and beyond and was able to organize a wonderful photo shoot after the proposal with the little time we had before sunset. In addition to the wonderful photos, the shoot turned into a tour of the city as Sofia took us to several unique places around Vince that we would have otherwise missed. Sofia was amazing and captured my proposal in Venice perfectly. I contacted her the night before after I had another photographer not work out. She was extremely accommodating, took the first train to Venice from Verona and met me at a Cafe to make sure we had a plan to capture the proposal moment. After the proposal, she took us to some very photogenic spots through the city. It was our first time doing a photoshoot, so neither of us were comfortable at first, but Sofia directed us and told us what we should do, while also making the moments look natural. After the shoot, she edited and sent the photos that same night so we could share them with our families. We we're amazed at how well the photos turned out, especially since she was able to send them so quickly and our shoot was mid-day which was peak tourist time (my fault since this was the only time that worked for us). We highly recommend Sofia. She captured our experience in Venice perfectly and we are grateful to have worked with her.

Our time with Sofia was really good. She took us to places we would not of seen without her and captured some good quality photos. We received our photos within 24 hours of the shoot. She is a fit young girl who races around the streets to get us to the next location which we really liked as that what we were paying for but someone who struggles with their fitness may find it challenging to keep up. Being a local girl she also spoke with locals to get us access to spots that normally the public would not be able to access. Overall this was one of the highlights of our trip.
